Triple Shine Foundation NPC is excited to announce a major milestone in our mission to improve lives and support community well-being. We have successfully raised ZAR 25,000 in our latest funding round, further propelling our initiatives and expanding our reach. Established in 2016 in Pretoria and the Limpopo Province of South Africa, our social enterprise has built a reputation for impact and innovation by partnering with Eco Soap Bank and numerous global charities, as well as major soap manufacturers, who generously donate their excess soap scrap. This material is collected and transported to our plant in Dendron, Limpopo, where it is transformed into high-quality soap bars by skilled mothers employed as soap makers. These soap bars are then distributed to WASH programs, charity organizations, hygiene initiatives, and disaster relief efforts, ensuring vital supply to communities most in need.
In addition to our recycling programs, Triple Shine Foundation NPC has developed an innovative livelihood initiative based on a socially inclusive micro-franchising model. This initiative targets low-income women and youth in both rural and township areas by transforming the traditional franchising model into affordable, small turn-key business units. We package our products with the aim of empowering local entrepreneurs and create opportunities for mutual profit sharing with detergent product distributors, contributing to sustainable development and economic self-reliance in underserved markets.
The newly raised ZAR 25,000 will be strategically allocated to enhance our recycling operations, support the micro-franchising initiative, and maintain the continuous supply of soap to critical hygiene and relief programs. We are grateful for the continued support of our donors and partners, whose contributions ensure that our mission to uplift communities and promote social inclusion remains at the heart of everything we do.
