Tresillian Family Care Centres Belmore has secured $30,000 in investment, marking a significant step for the non-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting Australian families. This capital infusion will assist Tresillian in its mission to provide essential services during the early years of a child's life.
Tresillian operates as a vital resource for close to 80,000 Australian families each year. The organisation offers advice, education, and support from child and family health nurses and allied health professionals. Their services are designed to help parents gain confidence in their roles, addressing routines related to breastfeeding, sleep, settling, and nutrition. With 16 Family Care Centres spread across New South Wales, Victoria, and the ACT, and a team of approximately 240 staff, primarily nurses, Tresillian delivers both statewide and Local Health District services. These include residential inpatient units, day stay units, outreach services, and a national Parent’s Help Line accessible from 7 am to 11 pm.
The $30,000 funding round is crucial for Tresillian Family Care Centres Belmore. This investment capital will be directed towards bolstering its comprehensive suite of services and supporting ongoing operational needs. The funds are planned to facilitate growth initiatives, ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality care and support to families grappling with the challenges of caring for babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers.
This funding underscores the continued commitment to Tresillian's work. Looking ahead, Tresillian Family Care Centres Belmore plans to leverage this investment to enhance its capacity and reach, ensuring more families across Australia can access the critical early parenting support they need. The organisation remains focused on expanding its impact and empowering parents with the knowledge and confidence to navigate early childhood.
