TransCode Therapeutics, Inc. is excited to announce that it has raised US$10 million in a recent funding round designed to accelerate its mission toward a cancer-free future. The company鈥檚 innovative approach focuses on overcoming one of the most difficult challenges in oncology鈥攅fficient cytosolic delivery of targeted therapeutics. At the heart of this breakthrough is TransCode鈥檚 proprietary TTX delivery platform, which enables the intelligent design and efficient administration of therapies that target key cancer drivers. The lead candidate, TTX-MC138, is engineered to inhibit miRNA-10b鈥攁 master regulator of metastatic cell viability implicated in a variety of cancers including breast, pancreatic, ovarian, colon cancer, and glioblastomas. Alongside this pioneering candidate, TransCode is advancing several other preclinical programs such as TTX-siPDL1 and TTX-siLIN28B, as well as cancer-agnostic programs like TTX-RIGA, TTX-CRISPR, and TTX-mRNA. Each of these initiatives is strategically aimed at addressing the underlying mechanisms of tumor progression, harnessing the power of RNA-based modulation, CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing, and mRNA vaccine technologies. The newly raised capital will be strategically invested in speeding up the progression of these drug candidates through the preclinical and clinical development pipelines, further refining the TTX platform, and ultimately paving the way for long-term treatment survival in cancer patients worldwide. This substantial investment not only reinforces investor confidence in TransCode鈥檚 transformative technology but also marks an important step forward in developing innovative therapies to combat one of medicine鈥檚 most formidable challenges.
