Terra CO2 Technology, based in Golden, Colorado, is proud to announce a major milestone in our mission to revolutionize the concrete industry while cutting greenhouse gas emissions. We have successfully raised $82,000,000 in our latest funding round, a significant boost that will accelerate the development and deployment of our groundbreaking cement replacement solutions. At the heart of our innovation are our engineered products, OPUS SCM and SCM+, which serve as direct, scalable, low-carbon alternatives to fly ash. By replacing up to 40% of conventional cement with our climate-friendly supplements, our technology achieves an impressive 70% reduction in CO2 emissions for every ton of Portland cement displaced.
This funding will enable us to expand our production capabilities and further optimize our products, ensuring that they remain cost competitive with traditional concrete mixes. OPUS is manufactured using abundantly available silicate rocks sourced from existing aggregate mines near major markets, making it both readily scalable and environmentally attractive. With cement production responsible for 8% of global greenhouse gas emissions, our approach is timely and vital. By leveraging existing infrastructure, Terra CO2 Technology has established a unique advantage that promises to drive down carbon emissions in the construction sector significantly. The capital raised will support enhanced R&D, market expansion, and strategic partnerships, solidifying our position as a leader in developing sustainable building materials. We look forward to the journey ahead, confident that these advancements will not only benefit the environment but also offer practical, cost-effective solutions for the future of the concrete industry.
