Spectrum Dynamics Medical is thrilled to announce the successful raising of $60 million in funding, aimed at propelling the company further in its mission to revolutionize the field of Nuclear Medicine through cutting-edge digital technology. As pioneers in the sector, Spectrum Dynamics is transforming traditional analog systems into advanced digital platforms that not only enhance image quality but also improve overall efficiency and safety by significantly reducing patient exposure to radiation. This new capital will accelerate the development and deployment of the D-SPECT® system, the world’s first digital cardiac SPECT system powered by innovative Broadview Technology, which utilizes swiveling CZT digital detectors. Among its advanced capabilities, D-SPECT® incorporates TruCorr, an intuitive deep learning application that generates attenuation-corrected myocardial perfusion images without the need for additional CT scans. Additionally, funding will support the ongoing evolution of the VERITON-CT®, the industry's first digital 360°CZT-based SPECT/CT system, designed with a high-resolution CT that caters to patients of all sizes. The VERITON-CT® model’s advanced features, including TruFlow 3D dynamic SPECT/CT imaging, ensure that clinicians worldwide can perform precise assessments across various applications, from myocardial flow reserve analysis to general studies. With this significant financial boost, Spectrum Dynamics is poised to continue leading the charge in Nuclear Medicine, ultimately empowering clinicians to deliver exceptional healthcare services.
