Sam’s Spares Secures $15K Grant to Power Community, Champion Sustainable E-Waste Solutions, and Empower Neurodiversity

Sam's Spares is thrilled to announce a major milestone in its journey towards environmental sustainability and community empowerment, having successfully raised $15,000 in fresh funding. This exciting capital injection reinforces our commitment as a Registered Not for Profit Incorporated Association dedicated to rescuing unwanted e-waste from landfills and giving it a new lease on life. Founded and led by Samuel Thomas—a 20-year-old trailblazer passionate about community, environment, and electronics—Sam's Spares specializes in repairing and refurbishing a wide range of electronics, including computers, laptops, mobile phones, gaming systems, and much more. All revitalized items are then joyfully gifted to community members in need through our Sam's Peer – Partner network of Not for Profit Organisations and Charities. This significant funding will be strategically allocated to expand our refurbishment facilities, invest in advanced repair technology, and widen our distribution network, ensuring that no one is left behind in this digital era. Beyond environmental conservation, the initiative aims to further dismantle societal stigmas by showcasing Samuel's personal triumph as an individual on the Autism spectrum with Tourette Syndrome. His success is a resounding testament to the fact that anyone with passion and purpose can overcome perceived limitations.
