Grandmothers for Gun Responsibility is excited to share an update on our funding efforts—even though we did not raise external funds in this round, our resolve to protect children and teens from gun violence remains as strong as ever. As a community of grandmothers across America, along with grandfathers and friends who believe in our mission, we are proud to stand united across political divides: we are red and blue, representing urban, suburban, and rural communities. While the recent funding round did not bring in new capital, we view this moment not as a setback but as an opportunity to rally even more support for the critical work we do. Our mission is to drive lasting change by expanding community outreach programs, launching educational campaigns about safe gun practices, and advocating for policy reforms that prioritize the safety of our youth. The purpose behind our pursuit of funding has always been to empower local initiatives and create networks of support that help reduce gun violence, ensuring that every child and teen has the chance to grow up in a secure environment. As we reflect on our progress, we remain thankful for the continuous commitment of our existing supporters and invite everyone who shares our passion for safety to join the movement. Though no additional funds were raised this time, our community’s energy and shared purpose are our most valuable resources, fueling our ongoing efforts to make a tangible difference. Join us at TheGrandmothers.org/join to sign up for our email list and learn how you can help turn the tides on gun violence across America through advocacy, education, and community involvement.
