India's push for a circular economy just got a significant boost, as Hyderabad-based Recykal.com announced a $204.0M Series C funding round. The tech startup, which aims to divert 10% of India鈥檚 waste from landfills, has built a digitally enabled ecosystem to channel waste into recycling and reuse streams.
Recykal.com has already processed over 1.2 million metric tonnes of waste, accounting for more than 1.9% of India鈥檚 total generation. Its suite of digital solutions empowers stakeholders from producers to consumers, earning it recognition as a Global Innovator by the World Economic Forum and a Digital India Award for its pioneering Deposit Refund System.
