The railway industry's push for efficiency just got a boost, as Railnova, a provider of predictive maintenance and fleet management solutions, announced it has raised $5.5M in pre-seed funding. The capital infusion will support its mission to help operators reduce delays and corrective maintenance costs through its all-in-one hardware and software platform.
Railnova's technology, which includes the Railster real-time monitoring device and Railfleet data management platform, is already in use by leading clients such as DB Cargo, NS, and Eurotunnel, enabling them to explain and prevent breakdowns by remotely monitoring rolling stock condition.
