Project Sentinel is thrilled to announce a major milestone in our mission to empower individuals facing housing challenges. In a recent funding round, we successfully raised $1,500,000, a sum that reinforces our commitment to providing free and confidential support to those in need. As a non-profit agency dedicated to resolving housing problems, Project Sentinel has been at the forefront of assisting individuals across the greater Bay Area and Central Valley with a variety of critical services. Our comprehensive programs include housing counseling, education, and dispute resolution designed to address a wide spectrum of rental issues—from repairs and rent increases to disputes over deposits and concerns about privacy and discrimination. We also extend our support to individuals facing mortgage foreclosure, delinquencies, and navigate the complexities of home buying through expert education initiatives, including post-purchase and reverse mortgage guidance.
This significant financial boost will be strategically invested in further expanding our programs and services. Our goal is to enhance the reach and effectiveness of our counseling and educational efforts, ensuring that every person experiencing housing instability has access to the tools and resources they need to secure safe and affordable housing. The funding will also enable us to strengthen our partnerships with local governments and community organizations, further embedding our services in the communities we serve. With this new investment, Project Sentinel is more prepared than ever to continue its vital work, fostering stability and offering hope in times of housing uncertainty. We are immensely grateful for the support of our donors and partners, whose belief in our mission propels us forward every day.
