Nova Pangaea Technologies has successfully raised $16,000,000 in its latest funding round, marking a pivotal milestone in the company's mission to revolutionize clean technology through its innovative approach to decarbonisation. As a pioneering cleantech company, Nova Pangaea Technologies is dedicated to driving sustainability within the aviation sector and beyond with its patented REFNOVA® technology. REFNOVA® transforms non-food derived agricultural and woody biomass from sustainable sources into two critical products: 2G ethanol and biochar. The 2G ethanol produced through this process can be further refined using the alcohol to jet (ATJ) pathway, enabling the production of advanced 2G biofuels such as sustainable aviation fuel. This breakthrough not only provides a cleaner alternative to fossil fuels but also aligns with global efforts to reduce aviation's carbon footprint.
In addition to its biofuel capabilities, the REFNOVA® technology also produces biochar, a natural carbon removal product that offers an immediate decarbonisation impact. Biochar enhances soil health and contributes to long-term carbon sequestration, positioning Nova Pangaea Technologies at the intersection of renewable energy generation and environmental stewardship.
The new funding will be strategically deployed to scale the company’s innovative processes, enhance production capacities, and further research and development efforts. This infusion of capital is set to support the commercialization of advanced biofuel technologies and expand the reach of sustainable aviation solutions while fortifying the company's commitment to decarbonising key industries. With this announcement, Nova Pangaea Technologies is poised to continue its leadership in cleantech innovation, driving forward a more sustainable and resilient energy future.
