Netball NSW is thrilled to announce a significant funding milestone, having successfully raised $1,500,000 to further its mission of fostering netball across New South Wales. Founded in 1929 with just a few players, Netball NSW has since blossomed into one of the largest independent sporting organizations in the state, proudly serving over 114,000 members. This funding boost will be instrumental in developing programs and services that cater to all levels of play, from grassroots enthusiasts to elite athletes competing at the highest levels. The funds will directly support the growth of Netball NSW's initiatives, including the expansion of education and training programs aimed at nurturing talent and excellence within the sport. Notably, this funding will also bolster the operations of our elite teams, the NSW Swifts and the new GIANTS Netball, as they compete in the Australian-only netball competition. With a rich history of success that includes numerous state titles and the emergence of top-tier players, Netball NSW remains committed to empowering the community through sport. This investment not only strengthens our ongoing commitment to providing leadership and partnership in netball but also ensures that all aspects of our organization thrive financially and operationally. As we look to the future, we are excited about the endless possibilities this funding will unlock, further solidifying our role in promoting netball as a cornerstone of sporting culture in New South Wales. Together, we will inspire the next generation of netball champions!
