We are thrilled to announce that Low Carbon Materials (LCM) has successfully raised $20 million in funding to accelerate our mission of revolutionizing the construction industry with sustainable materials. As a leading climate-tech company dedicated to the green construction sector, LCM has established itself as a pioneer by developing innovative, carbon-negative and low-carbon building materials. Our flagship product, OSTO, a waste-based aggregate, is designed to replace traditional aggregates in concrete production, a significant contributor to global CO2 emissions. Currently, concrete accounts for approximately 8% of global emissions*, but with OSTO, we can make substantial strides towards carbon neutrality in the construction sector. This milestone funding will enable LCM to expand our research and development initiatives, enhance manufacturing capabilities, and scale up the deployment of OSTO across ambitious construction projects.
