This capital infusion will support the company's ongoing efforts in developing rationally designed, fully synthetic immunotherapeutics aimed at combating cancer and persistent viral infections. The company specializes in leveraging its Synthetic Long Peptide (SLP®) concept and AMPLIVANT® technology to create immunotherapies designed to harness and direct the body’s own defenses against disease. ISA Pharmaceuticals has built a diverse SLP® immunotherapy portfolio, addressing unmet medical needs in both cancer and chronic infections, including tailored therapies for rare diseases. Its most advanced clinical-stage immunotherapeutic, ISA101, targets human papillomavirus (HPV)-induced diseases and is currently in clinical development for conditions such as advanced cervical cancer and HPV16-positive solid tumors. In 2017, ISA Pharmaceuticals also established a clinical immuno-oncology collaboration with Regeneron to advance ISA101 in combination with cemiplimab.
