HyImpulse is thrilled to announce that we have successfully raised €30,000,000 in our latest funding round, a milestone that reinforces our commitment to revolutionizing space access with our cutting-edge hybrid propulsion systems. This capital injection is set to accelerate the development and scaling of our innovative technologies as we continue to challenge conventional boundaries in aerospace engineering. Headquartered in southern Germany and rooted in a legacy of over 15 years of propulsion research and development, HyImpulse began its journey in 2018 as a spin-off from the German Aerospace Center (DLR), driven by a vision to make space more accessible, sustainable, and affordable.
Our recent success with the maiden flight of the SR75 suborbital rocket in 2024 stands as a testament to the viability and efficiency of hybrid propulsion. The SR75, a single-stage suborbital vehicle capable of delivering up to 300 kg into microgravity, not only validated our technology but also signified the dawn of a new era for commercial space access. As we build on this momentum, the newest funds will be strategically allocated to advancing our rocket programs and expanding our product portfolio, which includes the upcoming SL1 orbital small satellite launcher scheduled for launch in 2027 and the HyMove orbital transfer vehicle designed for in-space mobility and last-mile delivery.
This funding will further empower our mission to break down the barriers of traditional space travel, offering innovative solutions that prioritize safety, affordability, and environmental sustainability.
