HPS Network is thrilled to announce that it has successfully raised $25,000 to further its mission of supporting individuals and families affected by Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome (HPS). Founded in 1992 and officially incorporated in 1995, HPS Network is a dedicated 501c3 non-profit organization that works tirelessly to provide education, funding for vital research, and community outreach initiatives aimed at improving the quality of care for those impacted by this rare genetic disorder. The generous funding will be allocated towards enhancing our support programs, which include developing educational materials that help families and professionals navigate the complexities of HPS, as well as maintaining our comprehensive contact and symptom registry. This essential data compilation not only assists in peer networking but also plays a crucial role in recruiting participants for ongoing clinical research trials. Moreover, with our bilingual staff available to provide guidance through our toll-free support line, we aim to ensure that everyone in our community has easy access to the resources they need. The funds raised will enable us to expand our outreach efforts and continue to foster awareness about HPS, thereby empowering families and driving innovative research toward a cure. We deeply appreciate the support of our donors and the community, and we're excited about the positive impact this funding will have on our ongoing mission. Thank you for joining us on this journey toward better care and enhanced support for all those affected by Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome.
