The Hamilton Halton Brant Regional Tourism Association (HHBRTA) is thrilled to announce the successful raising of $3,000 to further its mission of enhancing and promoting tourism across the vibrant southwestern Ontario region. Established in 2009 and officially incorporated in 2010, HHBRTA is an independent, industry-led, not-for-profit organization dedicated to collaborating with various tourism partners—including the County of Brant, the cities of Brantford and Hamilton, the Regional Municipality of Halton, and indigenous communities like the Six Nations of the Grand River Territory and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. With this new funding, HHBRTA aims to expand its impactful marketing strategies designed to attract more visitors, stimulate local economic activity, and ultimately create new jobs within the tourism sector. The organization plays a pivotal role in integrating existing brands and partnerships while complementing the efforts of local Destination Management Organizations (DMOs) and Chambers of Commerce. Under the guidance of its permanent Board of Directors and a dedicated staff team, HHBRTA continues to leverage insights from the Heart of Ontario Regional Tourism Strategy to drive innovative initiatives that enhance the regional visitor experience. This latest investment underscores the commitment of HHBRTA to fostering sustainable tourism growth and capitalizing on unique product clusters, reinforcing the region's identity as a key destination for travelers. Together with their partners, HHBRTA is poised to make significant strides in boosting tourism and economic growth for the communities they serve.
