Great Southern Copper Secures $1.57M to Fuel Ambitious Copper-Gold Exploration in Chile’s Coastal Belt

Great Southern Copper is proud to announce the successful raising of $1,570,000 in new funding as the company gears up for its ambitious two-year exploration and evaluation programme focused on copper-gold deposits across Chile’s promising coastal belt. As a leading mineral exploration company with a clear vision for tapping into Chile’s underexplored yet globally significant mining jurisdictions, Great Southern Copper is uniquely positioned to support the rising global market demand for copper—a critical metal in the clean energy transition. The recent funding bolsters the company's strategic plans for detailed exploration of two early-stage projects, each prospective for large porphyry copper-gold deposits. The San Lorenzo Project, located northeast of the coastal town of La Serena in northern Chile, and the Especularita Project, situated approximately 170km to the south of San Lorenzo, offer highly promising prospects within a metallogenic belt known for significant historical workings and modern mining operations. With the option to acquire rights to 100% of these projects, Great Southern Copper intends to further delineate targets, assess deposit sizes, and ultimately position itself at the forefront of new discoveries in a jurisdiction already renowned as the world's largest copper producer. The infusion of this new capital will enable the company to conduct comprehensive geological surveys, implement advanced exploration technologies, and leverage its technical expertise to generate valuable insights for future decision-making.
