We are thrilled to announce that Fuse Power Management has successfully raised $25,000 in funding, thanks to support from the Canadian Innovation Clean Energy (CICE) program. Fuse is pioneering a fully functional and scalable Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) solution that not only enhances the efficiency of electricity usage but also significantly contributes to reducing carbon and particulate emissions in British Columbia. By enabling fleet owners to capitalize on idle vehicle battery capacity, we equip utilities with the necessary battery storage to manage peak energy demands, ultimately benefitting both parties: fleet operators receive compensation while actively contributing to cleaner air for everyone.
This funding will play a crucial role in advancing Fuse's mission. With our partners, we will embark on an extensive evaluation and validation of V2G opportunities. This encompasses the development of advanced V2G control and operations software, as well as the procurement and connection of electric buses. We are also focusing on the meticulous site selection and preparation process for installing V2G charging infrastructure and ensuring seamless interface operations with BC Hydro. The funds will support our ultimate goal: the successful commissioning and testing of our V2G system.
