Northern Lights College (NLC) is thrilled to announce the successful fundraising achievement of $3,500, aimed at enhancing the educational opportunities available to students across its campuses in northern British Columbia. With seven campuses and access centres spanning over 325,000 square kilometers, NLC plays a pivotal role in providing post-secondary education, including academic upgrading, trade skills, and professional development programs. This latest funding boost will be allocated towards expanding resources and support systems for students engaged in trades and apprenticeship training, as well as enhancing continuing education initiatives tailored to the unique needs of the local community.
NLC’s commitment to fostering student success is echoed through the tireless efforts of its Board of Governors, who are dedicated to managing and directing the affairs of the institution under the College and Institute Act of British Columbia. The board’s strategic focus includes pursuing funding opportunities that align with the college's mission to empower individuals through quality education and training. The additional funding will not only contribute to the professional growth of students but also cultivate a skilled workforce that is essential for the development of northern British Columbia. As the college continues to invest in its programs and infrastructure, we invite the community and stakeholders to remain engaged and informed through our website and campus resources. Together, we can continue to illuminate pathways for education and skill-building that will benefit generations to come.
