Equinent, a pioneering initiative under the Equity in Entrepreneurship program, proudly announces that it has successfully raised $1 million in funding to enhance its mission of bridging the race and gender equity gap in early-stage entrepreneurship. This vital financial support will directly contribute to creating more inclusive pathways within the vibrant Tampa Bay startup ecosystem. Launching its initiatives from the nonprofit Foundation for Community Driven Innovation’s AMRoC Fab Lab, located at the University Mall (and soon to transition to RITHM at Uptown), Equinent is dedicated to empowering underrepresented entrepreneurs through access to invaluable resources.
Participants of the program benefit from a robust community of mentors, whose expertise spans a diverse array of business fields, and they are equipped with cutting-edge rapid prototyping and fabrication tools available at the AMRoC.
