Re:Build, a pioneering organization committed to enhancing educational opportunities for under-resourced youth through entrepreneurship-based learning, is thrilled to announce the successful closing of a $120 million funding round. Founded in 1999, BUILD leverages a unique four-year entrepreneurship program that not only reinforces the Common Core curriculum but also cultivates vital 21st Century Skills, enabling students to immerse themselves in real business ventures from the 9th grade onward. With this fresh influx of capital, BUILD aims to scale its impactful programs, expanding its reach to more students across the San Francisco Bay Area, Washington, DC, Boston, MA, and New York City, where it currently serves around 2,000 high school students. The funding will facilitate enhancements to existing programming, expand mentorship networks, and bolster resources for college access and career readiness, ultimately enriching the educational experiences of the students. BUILD’s diverse, results-driven team is passionate about the transformational power of entrepreneurship education, believing that every student has the potential to succeed when provided with the right tools and support. Through collaboration, innovation, and a focus on experiential learning, BUILD is poised for a significant impact on the educational landscape, equipping the next generation with the skills and confidence necessary to thrive in both higher education and their careers.
