Empowering Southeast Anatolia Exports: GAİB Secures ₺10 Million to Drive Regional Growth

We are thrilled to announce that Güneydoğu Anadolu İhracatçı Birlikleri (GAİB) has successfully raised 10,000,000 in its latest funding round—a landmark achievement that underscores the strength and resilience of this prestigious organization. Since its inception in 1984, GAİB has been a cornerstone of Turkey’s export economy, bringing together four key export associations under a single General Secretariat and offering unparalleled support to its more than 13,000 members. Operating under the umbrella of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), GAİB’s commitment to enhancing the sectors it serves is evident in its dynamic approach to addressing the challenges faced by exporters. With a rich history of serving diverse industries—from textiles and raw materials to grains, legume products, dried fruits, and carpets—GAİB’s centralized headquarters in Gaziantep, along with its regional liaison offices in areas such as Kahramanmaraş, Mardin, Malatya, Diyarbakır, Şanlıurfa, Adıyaman, Kilis, Cizre, and the Gaziantep Free Zone, ensures that every exporter’s voice is heard and every need is met. The newly secured funds are earmarked primarily to drive innovation within its administrative and support functions, enhance technological integrations, and expand outreach programs that continue to empower regional exporters. This investment will further facilitate strategic initiatives, including modernization of services and broader market access strategies, to maintain competitiveness on the global stage. As GAİB continues to evolve while upholding its rich legacy of service, this funding marks a significant milestone in its ongoing mission to transform challenges into opportunities for export growth and sustainable economic development throughout the region.
