We are excited to share an important update from Studio.89, our non-profit community hub and fair trade café that has long been a safe, free space for events, workshops, and community resources. While this announcement does not include a monetary figure, the real value lies in the outpouring of community engagement and in-kind support that underscores our mission. Studio.89 was founded by Youth Troopers for Global Awareness (YTGA), an organization devoted to empowering young people to speak and act on social justice issues through the transformative platform of the arts. This funding announcement is not about a fixed dollar amount but rather serves as a milestone marking the momentum behind our vision.
The purpose of this community-led funding initiative is to bolster our capabilities in offering arts, culture, activism, and empowerment programs—with a special focus on youth leadership, employment, and volunteerism. We are committed to benefiting humans, animals, and the planet by promoting conscious consumerism and ethical practices, and this new phase will help expand our reach in hosting more dynamic events and workshops. Our aim is to further invest in resources, infrastructure, and community partnerships that deepen our impact and enrich our programs. With each in-kind contribution, volunteer hour, and community partnership, we are building a future where safe spaces empower individuals and foster change. We truly believe that every contribution—monetary or not—propels us closer to realizing a vibrant community that champions creativity, fairness, and social justice.
