Lutris Pharma is thrilled to announce a significant funding milestone, having successfully raised $30 million in its latest financing round. As a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, Lutris Pharma is dedicated to enhancing the landscape of anti-cancer therapies, particularly for patients undergoing treatment with Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) inhibitors or radiation therapy. These treatments, while often effective, can result in debilitating dermal toxicities, which frequently lead to reduced compliance and overall effectiveness of cancer therapies. The newly acquired funds will expedite Lutris Pharma's mission to develop novel topical therapies designed to alleviate these adverse side effects. Central to Lutris Pharma's efforts is its lead asset, LUT014, a first-in-class topical B-Raf Inhibitor currently undergoing a phase 2 clinical trial targeting metastatic colorectal cancer patients suffering from EGFR inhibitor-induced acneiform lesions. Additionally, LUT014 is being evaluated in a phase 1/2 study for patients battling radiation-induced dermatitis. The successful funding round will not only bolster these critical clinical trials but also support the development of our broader portfolio aimed at improving the quality of life for cancer patients. With these resources, Lutris Pharma remains committed to innovating therapeutic solutions that empower patients to adhere to their chemotherapy regimens and ultimately achieve better health outcomes in their fight against cancer.
