The Gardeners Co. CIC is delighted to announce that we have successfully raised ÂŁ20,000 to further our mission of reconnecting communities with nature through the art of gardening. Born out of the inspiring vision of founders Tatyana and Shannon, The Gardeners Collective was established in North Devon with a commitment to inspire people of all ages to embrace gardening and explore the natural world. This latest round of funding is a transformative development for our community gardening project, enabling us to expand our range of workshops and events designed to nurture not just gardens, but also well-being and connection among community members.
The funds raised will go directly towards enhancing our offerings, including children’s family workshops, beginner’s “learn to grow” sessions, corporate wellbeing programs, and specialized events aimed at deepening nature connections. We believe that by investing in these activities, we can help individuals gain the practical skills needed to cultivate their own green spaces while simultaneously reaping the numerous physical and mental health benefits that come with engaging with the outdoors. Our mission is rooted in the conviction that gardening is more than just planting and harvesting; it is about flourishing together as a community, fostering resilience, and cultivating a shared love for the environment.
This significant financial boost will also support improvements in our facilities and outreach programs, making our gardening projects more accessible and inclusive. As we plant new seeds of ambition with this funding, The Gardeners Collective is poised to continue its growth and create even greater impact within North Devon and beyond. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our supporters and look forward to a future blooming with sustainable community engagement and natural wellness.
