Notably, in its debut year BharatPe launched India’s first UPI interoperable QR code and offered a zero MDR payment acceptance service, laying the foundation for a truly inclusive ecosystem. Post-Covid in 2020, the company further innovated with BharatSwipe, India’s only zero MDR card acceptance terminal, which solidified its position as a forerunner in facilitating seamless offline UPI transactions.
Today, BharatPe proudly serves over one million merchants across more than 400 cities, processing an annualized Transaction Processed Value of US$26 billion in digital payments. The company’s robust approach to financial services is also evident in its commitment to merchant credit, having disbursed loans totaling over ₹10,000 crores since its inception.
