The British Association for Immediate Care (BASICS) is excited to announce that it has successfully raised £250,000 in funding, a significant milestone that will enhance its mission to promote and sustain excellence in pre-hospital care throughout the UK. As a distinguished charity, BASICS is committed to supporting local schemes that deliver critical care to those who are critically ill or injured. The funds will be pivotal in expanding our education and training programs, which are internationally recognized and cater to a diverse range of health care professionals, including doctors, nurses, and paramedics. Additionally, this funding will bolster our efforts to organize the annual Immediate Care Conference, a key platform for sharing knowledge and best practices in pre-hospital care. Membership subscriptions, which offer members discounts on courses and a connection to the broader BASICS community, will also be supported by this funding, ensuring that our members remain at the forefront of immediate care advancements. With these additional resources, BASICS is poised to reach more healthcare professionals, enhance the quality of pre-hospital care, and ultimately save more lives across the UK and beyond. We are grateful to our supporters and are excited about the journey ahead as we continue to advocate for high-quality immediate care through education, training, and community engagement.
