We are thrilled to announce that ArtsConnection, a nationally recognized non-profit arts education organization with a rich 45-year history, has successfully raised $100,000 to further our mission of empowering New York City public school students from pre-kindergarten through grade 12. This significant funding will enhance our award-winning arts programs designed to support literacy and foster vital skills such as communication, creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking. Each year, we reach over 45,000 students, particularly in high-needs communities, through our partnerships with more than 120 public schools across all five boroughs, as well as our engaging after-school and weekend initiatives.
The funds will be directed toward expanding our diverse programming in music, dance, theater, media, and visual arts, allowing us to reach even more young learners. With a dedicated faculty of over 125 specially-trained professional artists, we are excited to continue offering unique opportunities for children and teens to express themselves and understand the world around them. This infusion of resources enables us to provide access to the rich cultural landscape of New York City, nurturing the next generation of artists and thinkers. We are grateful to our supporters who believe in the transformative power of arts education and are committed to investing in the futures of our youth. Together, we are ensuring that every student has the skills and motivation to succeed academically and personally, fostering a vibrant, creative community for years to come.
