The Association of Iroquois and Allied Indians (AIAI) is pleased to announce a new strategic funding milestone, marking another chapter in our long-standing mission of advocacy and unity among our member Nations. In our latest announcement, AIAI has raised $0—a figure that may seem modest numerically, yet represents a renewed commitment to reallocating our existing resources and reenergizing our advocacy efforts across Ontario. Founded in 1969 during a turbulent era of integration and assimilation policies, AIAI has led the charge in protecting the diverse political and cultural rights of the Oneida, Mohawk, Delaware, Potawatomi, Ojibway, and other allied Nations. Each community brings unique languages, traditions, and territories to the table, yet under the AIAI umbrella, they form a resilient alliance dedicated to defending their collective Aboriginal and Treaty rights.
This funding announcement, while not highlighting a new financial inflow, is a reaffirmation of our strategic redirection.
