6K Additive is thrilled to announce that we have successfully raised $51,000,000 in new funding, marking a significant milestone in our journey as a leader in the production of premium metal powders and alloy additions from sustainable sources. Headquartered in Burgettstown, PA, our company has always been devoted to innovation, quality, and sustainability, and this infusion of capital will further enhance our pioneering capabilities. At the heart of our manufacturing excellence is the innovative UniMelt® microwave plasma process, which enables us to transform domestically sourced feedstock—including certified millings from CNC, grindings, used additive powders, and even support materials from AM—into powders that are truly spherical, void of porosity and satellites, and exhibit superior flowability when compared to competing technologies. This investment will allow us to upscale production, fortify our research and development efforts, and expand our suite of premium powder offerings that are already well-regarded in the market. Our product portfolio currently includes Nickel 718, Nickel 625, Titanium 64, SS316L, Copper 18150, as well as a range of refractory powders such as Tungsten, Rhenium, Niobium C103, and Tungsten-Rhenium. Additionally, as the proud recipient of a $23.4M DPA Title III grant, we are set to convert military depot components back into critical materials like titanium and nickel, turning them into powder and pre-ingots for essential military applications. This strategic funding not only reinforces our commitment to sustainable manufacturing practices but also positions 6K Additive at the forefront of transforming raw material recycling into advanced, high-performance products.
