WWF-Kenya Secures $16 Million Funding to Support Conservation Initiatives

We are thrilled to announce that the World Wide Fund for Nature - Kenya (WWF-Kenya) has successfully raised an impressive Ksh 16,000,000 to further its mission of conserving the natural environment while supporting sustainable development across the nation. Founded in 1962, WWF-Kenya has been at the forefront of conservation efforts, collaborating with government, civil society, private sectors, and local communities to ensure a healthy and vibrant ecosystem that benefits both people and wildlife. The recently acquired funding will be instrumental in advancing our five priority programmes: Coastal Kenya, Kenya Rift Lakes, Southern Kenya, the newly introduced Northern Kenya initiative, and our cross-cutting Biodiversity, Research and Innovation Programme.
