The company provides a unified system for businesses to source, classify, contract, pay, and employ their contractors, freelancers, and agency talent compliantly across more than 150 countries.
The investment underscores the growing need for dedicated infrastructure for the contingent workforce, which often lacks the HR and payroll systems afforded to permanent employees. Worksome aims to replace the spreadsheets and disconnected processes that slow down external hiring for procurement, contingent workforce, HR, and finance teams.
