VOR Secures $55 Million in Funding to Champion Quality Care for Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

We are thrilled to announce that VOR has successfully raised $55 million in funding to support our continued mission of advocating for high-quality care and human rights for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Founded in 1983, VOR stands alone as the national organization dedicated to promoting a comprehensive spectrum of residential options and services. We believe in empowering individuals by providing the choices they deserve, whether that means living in their own homes, with family, or in licensed facilities with community-based services. This critical funding will allow us to enhance our advocacy efforts, develop educational resources, and strengthen partnerships to ensure that these individuals and their families receive the support they need. Our commitment extends to championing quality community-based service options while maintaining the crucial existence of Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Mental Retardation (ICFs/MR).
