Vochlea Music has secured $100,000 in new funding from investors. The London-based company specializes in developing innovative solutions to enhance the music creation workflow, leveraging its proprietary Voice-to-MIDI technology and AI Audio Engine. This core technology bridges the gap between musical ideas and software, enabling users to control digital instruments and effects live with their voice, such as triggering drum samples by beatboxing or humming melodies.
The company launched its first product, the vocal recognition MIDI controller Dubler Studio Kit, in March 2019. This was followed by Dubler 2 in September 2021, which has since received numerous updates, including new companion software and support for five additional languages. Vochlea Music's approach to music technology has garnered international recognition, including awards from SXSW, Web Summit, and NAMM for its design and innovation.
This capital infusion will be directed towards supporting Vochlea Music's ongoing product development initiatives and expanding its operational capabilities. The funding is intended to strengthen the company's position in the music technology market and facilitate further advancements in its Voice-to-MIDI platform.
Based in Tileyard London, Vochlea Music operates with a small, close-knit team. The company emphasizes a culture of diversity, inclusion, and work-life balance. This latest investment underscores confidence in Vochlea Music's technology and its potential to continue innovating within the music industry.
Looking ahead, Vochlea Music plans to utilize this funding to accelerate its growth trajectory and continue its journey towards becoming a prominent leader in music innovation.
