The Victim Rights Law Center is proud to announce that we have raised $4,800,000 in new funding to further support our mission of serving sexual assault survivors. As the first nonprofit law center in the country solely focused on the civil legal needs of survivors, this landmark achievement will enable us to expand and enhance critical services that many individuals in Massachusetts and Oregon rely on for their privacy, safety, education, immigration, housing, employment, and financial stability. This generous influx of funds comes as a testament to the growing recognition of the vital work we do and the national commitment to improve the legal support and advocacy for sexual assault survivors.
With these resources, the Victim Rights Law Center will continue to provide free, expert legal assistance to survivors, ensuring that they have access to compassionate legal guidance and the support needed to navigate complex systems after enduring trauma. Additionally, the funds will allow us to widen our training and technical assistance initiatives, extending our reach to attorneys, advocates, campus administrators, military personnel, law enforcement officers, and medical professionals. By strengthening these networks and improving response protocols, our goal is to build a more informed, empathetic, and effective support system for survivors both within our current service areas and nationwide.
