Since being awarded funding from CARB-X in 2020, VAXDYN has made significant strides in developing its flagship vaccine candidate, KapaVax, designed to bolster immunity against the top three superbugs identified by the World Health Organization: Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Acinetobacter baumannii. With this new injection of capital, VAXDYN aims to accelerate the progress of KapaVax through the critical phases of clinical trials, achieving proof of principle in humans.
