We are thrilled to announce that United Way of North Carolina has successfully raised $1,000,000 in funding to further bolster our mission of fostering thriving communities across the state. This funding marks a significant milestone for our organization, which works in collaboration with 48 local United Ways to identify and tackle the most pressing challenges faced by our residents. At United Way of North Carolina, we aim to create a brighter future where everyone has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their background or circumstances.
A key component of our efforts includes the NC 211 program, an invaluable resource operated out of our Cary call center. NC 211 serves as a vital lifeline, connecting individuals and families with essential services ranging from housing assistance to healthcare resources. With this new funding, we plan to enhance our outreach initiatives, expand our service offerings, and improve the overall user experience for those in need. Our goal is to ensure that every North Carolinian knows about and can easily access the comprehensive support available to them through NC 211.
