Tylko, the Warsaw-based next-generation furniture company, has secured $8.1 million in new funding from investors. Founded in 2015, Tylko specialises in premium, customised storage furniture, aiming to improve homes through bespoke design solutions. The company has reimagined the traditional furniture-buying process by offering high-quality personalised shelving that buyers can customise down to the last detail, delivering products that make organisation simple and bring harmony to any home.
Central to Tylko's offering are its advanced tech tools and proprietary software, including an intuitive online configurator and the Tylko Augmented Reality App. These tools democratise bespoke design, enabling customers to meet the needs of unique spaces with precision and ease. This approach has resonated with a broad customer base, with Tylko having served almost 60,000 customers and selling over 70,000 perfect-fit shelves globally to date.
This significant investment underscores confidence in Tylko's innovative business model and its strong position within the evolving furniture market. The newly secured capital will be strategically deployed to accelerate growth initiatives, including expanding its product offerings and further enhancing its technological capabilities to improve the customer experience. Tylko also maintains a strong commitment to sustainability, adhering to a 'buy less, but better' ethos through responsibly sourced materials and local production with resource-efficient machinery.
The company strives to be a conscious furniture choice, prioritising quality, style, and environmental responsibility without compromise. This funding round is expected to support Tylko's strategic objectives as it continues to scale its operations and reach new markets, further solidifying its presence in the customised furniture sector and its mission to provide long-lasting, beautiful furniture.
