Truva, a company focused on transforming real estate transactions, has successfully raised $1.7 million in its latest funding round. The capital infusion marks a significant milestone for the firm, which aims to simplify and enhance the experience of buying and selling homes in India.
Founded by IIT and Stanford alumni, Truva addresses the common frustrations associated with property transactions, such as endless visits, hidden costs, and extensive paperwork. For buyers, the company curates exclusive, fully renovated, quality-checked, and legally assured properties, promising a transparent process. Sellers benefit from a streamlined approach that includes upfront tokens, guaranteed pricing, and an average selling time of just 35 days. Truva's model involves data-backed pricing, professional renovations, end-to-end legal paperwork handling, and one-year quality guarantees. Since its launch in January 2024, Truva has assisted over 100 families with homes valued at more than 160 crores, operating primarily in Mumbai.
This secured investment will be instrumental in accelerating Truva's strategic growth initiatives. The company plans to deploy the funds to further enhance its technology platform, expand its operational footprint beyond Mumbai, and scale its unique service offerings for both buyers and sellers. The capital injection underscores investor confidence in Truva's innovative approach to a traditionally complex market.
Looking ahead, Truva is committed to building the future of real estate transactions in India, focusing on delivering delightful and efficient experiences. The company aims to continue its trajectory of growth, making home buying and selling a more transparent and enjoyable process for a wider audience.
