Tomorrow's Warriors: Empowering Jazz Artists with None Funding Boost

Tomorrow's Warriors, a pioneering force in the realm of jazz talent development and creative production, is thrilled to announce its successful funding initiative, which has greatly expanded its capacity to strengthen the UK jazz scene. Established in 1991 by the visionary duo Dr. Gary Crosby OBE and Janine Irons OBE, Tomorrow's Warriors has a stellar reputation as both a music educator and consultancy. With an impressive track record, the organization has cultivated an array of notable artists, including Shabaka Hutchings, Soweto Kinch, and Nubya Garcia, among others. The recent funding, amounting to significant resources, will be strategically allocated to enhance Tomorrow's Warriors’ dynamic Young Artist Development Programme, hosted at the prestigious Southbank Centre, where over 450 workshops and performances are delivered annually. This investment aims to foster even greater access and opportunities for diverse, emerging talent, particularly focusing on the promotion of black and female artists in the jazz genre. In line with its commitment to inclusivity, the funding will also support innovative outreach educational programs, ensuring that all aspiring musicians, regardless of their background, find a nurturing and empowering environment to thrive. As a National Portfolio Organisation of Arts Council England and a PRS Foundation Talent Development Partner, Tomorrow's Warriors is poised to continue making significant strides in the music community, collaborating with artists, promoters, and institutions, generating lasting impact within the vibrant world of jazz.
