We're thrilled to announce that The Space, our innovative Digital Arts hub, has successfully raised £16,000 to further our mission of uniting arts organisations, visionary artists, and cutting-edge technology to produce extraordinary art and reach wider audiences. Founded by Arts Council England and the BBC, The Space is dedicated to making arts and culture accessible to everyone while nurturing new talent and pioneering original work. As a Community Interest Company with an independent Board of Directors drawn from technology, media, and the arts, we continue to push creative boundaries supported by robust partnerships. The funds secured will be strategically allocated to commissioning groundbreaking projects, enhancing digital skills among arts professionals, and boosting our capacity to help organisations and venues leverage digital media more effectively. This investment aligns with our core objective of driving the creative economy forward. Our ongoing collaborations—with the Arts Council England supporting our training and development work, and Creative Scotland, the Arts Council of Wales, and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland funding commissions outside England—further strengthen our ability to deliver transformative cultural experiences nationwide. Whether you’re a seasoned UK arts professional, an emerging artist, or part of a dynamic digital media or production company, this funding empowers us to explore new avenues of creative expression and digital engagement. We invite you to learn more about the opportunities we offer, our latest projects, and the extensive training and digital resources available on our website at www.thespace.org. Join us on this exciting journey as we harness innovative funding to champion creativity, foster digital transformation, and expand the reach of the arts throughout the UK.
