TDK Ventures, the global corporate venture capital firm, has secured $21.0 million in new funding from investors. This capital infusion marks a significant step for the firm, which is dedicated to investing in deeptech startups across critical sectors such as energy, computing, health, agriculture, mobility, robotics, industrial systems, and advanced materials.
Founded in 2019 by Nicolas Sauvage, TDK Ventures operates with $500 million under management across four active funds. The firm's mission is to support visionary entrepreneurs building a better future, helping them scale with the full force of TDK. Headquartered in San Jose with regional offices in Boston, Bengaluru, and London, TDK Ventures typically invests from Seed to Series B stages across North America, Europe, and Asia.
This new funding will bolster TDK Ventures' operational capacity and strategic initiatives, enabling the firm to further strengthen its unique model of long-term partnership, known as TDK Goodness. This approach provides early product validation, go-to-market and operational support, and strategic access to TDK’s global ecosystem, empowering founders beyond just capital.
With active funds including Fund I, Fund II, the multi-LP Fund EX1 dedicated to decarbonization and electrification, and the recently launched Fund III focusing on digital and energy transformation, this investment will support TDK Ventures' overarching strategy. The firm plans to leverage this capital to deepen its global impact and enhance its support for breakthrough innovation.
Looking ahead, TDK Ventures remains committed to its role as a founder-first investor, continuing to empower entrepreneurs to become true impact scalers and drive the development of transformative deeptech solutions worldwide.
