We are thrilled to announce that LEAD Center For Youth has successfully raised $10,000 to empower Atlanta’s at-risk youth through our transformative initiatives. Guided by our mission to empower an at-risk generation to lead and transform the City of Atlanta, our organization harnesses the power of sport—especially baseball—to educate and inspire vulnerable students confronting the challenges of crime, poverty, and racism. The generous funding will directly support our year-round Pathway2Empowerment program, which already positively impacts 350 students in Atlanta Public Schools. This dynamic program is built on four essential pillars: athletics, education, civic engagement, and commerce, each designed to cultivate the comprehensive development of young individuals.
Our model is further reinforced by six core values—excellence, humility, integrity, loyalty, stewardship, and teamwork—ensuring that every facet of personal and professional growth is addressed. With this new funding, LEAD Center For Youth will enhance program resources, provide additional training and mentoring for student athletes, and expand community outreach efforts. These enhancements will not only enrich our curriculum but also equip our Ambassadors—graduates of the program—with the skills and mindset necessary to become civically engaged, compassionate leaders. As they move into various industries and community roles, these individuals are prepared to make a lasting, positive impact within the neighborhoods they serve. This funding milestone marks an important step in our ongoing commitment to transforming challenges into opportunities and fostering resilient, empowered leaders for today and tomorrow.
