Stellar Resources (ASX: SRZ) is excited to announce the successful raising of $55,000 in its latest funding round—a pivotal milestone that will further accelerate the development of its flagship Heemskirk Tin Project. Located in the mining-friendly and stable jurisdiction of Zeehan, Western Tasmania, this world-class project is central to Stellar’s vision of establishing a leading tin operation capable of producing between 3,000 and 3,500 tonnes per annum of payable tin. This cash injection comes at a crucial time as the company intensifies prefeasibility activities aimed at optimizing the project’s scope ahead of the 2024 Scoping Study. With a high-grade resource totalling 7.48 million tonnes at 1.04% tin content (equating to 77.87 kilotonnes of tin), the Heemskirk project stands as the highest-grade undeveloped tin resource in Australia and ranks third globally, underscoring its tremendous potential. The fresh funds will be used to support a suite of initiatives, including advanced resource and exploration drilling designed to upgrade and expand resource classifications, as well as ore sorting test work to enhance ore feed head-grade and tin recoveries. In parallel, Stellar is actively advancing exploration at its North Scamander Project, where early drilling in September 2023 unveiled a promising polymetallic discovery featuring high-grade silver, tin, zinc, lead, and indium. This funding not only reinforces confidence in Stellar Resources’ strategic and technical vision but also accelerates its journey towards unlocking significant value and contributing meaningfully to global tin supply dynamics.
