The Scripps Ranch Commerce Advocacy Group (SR.CAG) is excited to announce a significant milestone in our journey to uplift and empower the Miramar-Scripps Ranch-Mira Mesa business community—we have successfully raised $25,000 in funding. As a 501(c)(3) pending organization currently in pilot-mode, our mission is to connect a diverse network of micro-businesses and nonprofits, ensuring that local commerce not only survives but flourishes in an ever-changing economic landscape. This new influx of capital will be directed toward enhancing our outreach efforts, expanding our advocacy initiatives, and elevating the visibility of local products and services. By doing so, we are paving the way for a more robust local economy where businesses receive the support they need to secure vital municipal backing and additional funding.
Furthermore, these resources will bolster our role as a hub of education for young adults, informing them on vital aspects of commerce and the implications of evolving city and county policies. Staying informed is key to fostering a proactive community, and SR.CAG is committed to demystifying the complexities of policy changes that directly impact the business sector. This effort not only encourages civic engagement but also empowers future leaders to become effective proponents of economic growth and community advocacy. The raised funds are a testament to the trust and commitment of our local supporters, and we are eager to translate this financial backing into tangible improvements that resonate throughout our vibrant community. Each dollar will contribute to creating a more inclusive, informed, and prosperous environment for all stakeholders involved in our shared economic journey.
