Salvo Health has raised $8.5 million in new investment capital. The company provides a platform designed to enable healthcare providers treating chronic gastrointestinal (GI) and metabolic liver conditions to transition from episodic appointments to offering continuous "wraparound care." This funding round underscores the growing interest in solutions that support more integrated and effective chronic care management.
Salvo Health's platform allows providers, including GI private practices, primary care population health ACOs, and health systems, to deliver interdisciplinary follow-on care while keeping patients under their doctor's supervision. This coordinated approach enables doctors to integrate a dedicated team of registered dietitians, gut health specialized nurses, and behavioral health support to create personalized care plans for each patient. The system aims to improve patient outcomes and access to specialized support.
For providers, Salvo Health offers a new service line of revenue by leveraging remote patient monitoring (RPM), which is covered by insurance, and building a bridge towards Value Based Care bundled services. This investment is significant for Salvo Health as it seeks to expand its reach and enhance its capabilities in supporting healthcare organizations.
The capital will be used to accelerate growth initiatives, further develop its technology platform, and scale operations to meet increasing demand from healthcare providers. Salvo Health plans to continue its focus on empowering providers to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care for chronic conditions, aiming to improve both clinical outcomes and operational efficiencies within the healthcare system.
