Helix Earth is excited to announce the successful completion of a $5.6 million funding round, paving the way for transformative advancements in liquid-gas chemistry that originated from our innovative work on NASA space missions. With this new capital, Helix Earth will accelerate the development and deployment of our groundbreaking HVAC retrofit devices, which promise to catapult energy efficiency and savings to unprecedented levels in air conditioning systems. Our technology accelerates chemical reactions by 1000 times, allowing us to tackle a critical issue: by 2050, CO2 emissions from HVAC power use are projected to account for nearly 10% of global output, surpassing emissions from all aviation and passenger vehicles combined. Our devices effectively remove moisture from incoming outside air before it enters air conditioning systems, resulting in energy consumption reductions of 50% or more. This represents a game-changing solution for commercial property owners burdened by rising utility costs and equipment purchases. Given the array of incentives and tax credits available, integrating Helix products into rooftop HVAC systems can require no upfront investment, making them an accessible and appealing option for both retrofitting older systems and replacing outdated equipment. With this funding, Helix Earth is poised to lead the charge in the HVAC sector, driving sustainability while significantly lowering energy costs for business owners across various industries.
