The Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis (RAC) is thrilled to announce that it has successfully raised an impressive $10.6 million in funding, a significant milestone that underscores the unwavering support for the arts within our community. Since its establishment in 1985, RAC has been at the forefront of fostering a rich and diverse arts scene in St. Louis, having awarded more than 7,000 grants and distributing over $100 million to artists and arts organizations alike. As we mark our 35th anniversary, this new funding will allow us to enhance our grantmaking initiatives, further our strategic programs, and invest in projects that advance diversity, equity, and inclusion within the arts sector. Under the guidance of our dedicated board of commissioners, appointed by the leaders of St. Louis City and St. Louis County, we are committed to quality support for nonprofit arts organizations and individual artists. This new capital will not only bolster existing programs but also enable the exploration of innovative partnerships that will strengthen our community. By continuing to cultivate a vibrant arts landscape, we aim to drive progress and inspire creativity across our region. We invite everyone to learn more about our mission and programs by visiting racstl.org or connecting with us on Facebook and Twitter. Together, let's continue to make St. Louis a beacon of cultural vitality and artistic expression!
