As one of the few student-led venture capital funds at Miami University, we pride ourselves on fostering the next generation of entrepreneurs and leaders in the fast-paced world of venture capital. This funding will empower us to continue our mission of providing invaluable hands-on experience to Miami students, allowing them to engage directly in the industry by evaluating promising companies and managing our expanding portfolio.
With the goal of raising a total of $2.0 million, our fund specifically targets pre-seed and seed-stage startups founded by Miami alumni and students, as well as innovative ventures across the Midwest. We offer advisory services and funding support of up to $25,000 to help these nascent companies thrive. The backing from Procter & Gamble not only validates our commitment to the entrepreneurial ecosystem but also enhances our capability to equip early-stage startups with the resources they need to succeed. We believe that by investing in our community's budding entrepreneurs, we are not only nurturing their potential but also enriching the broader Midwest economic landscape.
